    Hey, I live with my partner and my partner is not vegan. How can I slowly get my partner to understand how important it is for me to have a home were we only eat vegan food? The food that we buy from the store in my oppinion should be vegan. My partner works as a kook and its ok if they bring a singel portion of non vegan food to home, but otherwise I want the food to be vegan in home. Thanks for doing this video.

    A restaurant near me has the best tempeh bacon. It’s soft and pliable (ie. doesn’t crumble apart like tempeh often tends to do). Is this similar to that? I want it to be soft.

    Actually the animals you eat are farmed in places like barns also veganism is genuinely stupid because you need the nutrition and protein and stuff in meat 🍖 meat=food plant=food meat+plant=an entire meal because mea l mea for meat and l for leafy vegetables 🌿 you need both to have a balenced diet when 1 is gone the other follows 🍖 🌿

    I heard a shitty advice coming from you woman. Why someone will love a meat eater that does not want to change? It is not about prefering certain restaurant , animals are being T0RTURED and you want to share with the person who does not give a shit?

    Why use dates and then a ton of margarine and syrup? Makes no sense. If it's a junk food dessert, just go with plain sugar for the dough.

      You can skip the glaze if you'd rather just have the cake itself :) It's also delicious with a cashew cream cheese frosting if you'd rather skip the toffee.

    Would chocolate get dry on the fruits if you set it? And can you pack it up for a party?

    • @brownble
      @brownble 3 місяці тому

      If making chocolate fondue hardening will depend on the amount of milk or cream you add to it, but it does tend to harden with time as it cools. As for packing the cheese fondue, yes you can! I find that it's always more delicious made right at that moment but you can also make it, pack it up and simply reheat on low on the stove while whisking to make sure it stays creamy and homogenous. Then you transfer it to your fondue pot and just keep it warm there as you enjoy. Hope this helps! :)

    But when you free and crumble it looks more like groundmeat in chili and sloppy Joe's, etc.

    • @brownble
      @brownble 3 місяці тому

      Yes, freezing it would be great for those applications. But you can also cut it into thick slices and marinate and use in stir-fries or simply grill, roast or air-fry as well. It's just a matter of personal preference whether you like the more crumbly texture after freezing or the smoother texture without freezing.

    I'm vegan, and speaking with my boss, he said I'm no better than him cos child labor is involved with the fruit and veg I buy at the supermarket. I'm baffled.. please help

    • @brownble
      @brownble 6 місяців тому

      Hi Lorenzo, I'm sorry you experienced this exchange with your boss. What I like to say when someone makes a comment like this to me, is reassure them that being vegan is never about stating that a vegan is better than anyone else and that moral comparison is not what veganism is about. What it is about is that it's a way of eating and living that reduces the harm done to animals in a very significant way, and that if in certain regions of the world there are still humane issues with the ways fruits and vegetables are grown, you can do your research and choose sources that align with the rest of your values as well, looking after humans and animals alike. No food system is perfect, but when it comes to animal suffering I do believe that veganism is one of the ways to make the biggest impact in reducing it. Also, meat consumption also includes crop consumption, as you need many more pounds of crops to feed the animals when compared to eating plants directly, so going straight to the plants without going through the animal, still means a reduction in the number of plants grown. The Food Empowerment Project is a great website to find alternatives to the few crops that still have issues like child labor in some parts of the world, and they give you great alternatives of products you can buy. I hope this helps! :)

    I made this yesterday. It's really good. I made it in the Vitamix blender and it seemed way too thick for a blender. I also lost much of it trying to scrape it out. Next time I'd use the food processor. They're delicious though. I'm wondering if you can freeze it because I'm afraid I'll eat too much of it. Would freezing be OK?

    • @brownble
